BETSY ALDREDGE & CARRIE DUBOIS-SHAW
We met at NYU where we lived in a haunted dorm, studied musical theater, and were secretly delighted to be mistaken for English literature majors. Now, we write funny, swoony, page-turning young adult romance novels.
BETSY ALDREDGE
Betsy is a former magazine editor turned communications professional who avoids math at all costs. Therefore, she’s held a series of artsy jobs at Opera News, Museums Magazine, and the Museum of Jewish Heritage, where she tried to remember everything she learned in Hebrew school. She now works at Purchase College, SUNY, where she is inspired daily by the students and professors. She lives in Connecticut.
CARRIE DUBOIS-SHAW

SASQUATCH, LOVE, AND OTHER IMAGINARY THINGS
"Samantha’s first-person narration is marked by her sarcastic, wry, and delightfully snarky humor. 'Squatching' doesn’t get any funnier than this." - Kirkus
Seventeen-year-old Samantha Berger is pretty sure most nice Jewish girls don’t have parents who force them to search for Bigfoot, especially on national T.V. Just when Sam thinks she couldn’t be more humiliated, she meets the competition: a team of snobby anthropology students from Netherfield Academy who are set on wiping the floor with her “Squatch” loving family.
The captain of the other team, Devan Das, is impossibly cute — until he opens his perfect British mouth and calls her family a bunch of low-class dolts. Sam’s no longer just embarrassed. She’s livid, and determined to beat the ascot off Devan and his crew. After all, the prize money will allow her to study pre-med at the college of her dreams, far from Yetis and future Yalies.
As Sam and Devan go to war, their friction and attraction almost distract them from the hint that Sasquatch may actually be out there somewhere…
